Casey had her two month checkup today. She also had to get her shots, poor baby. She weighs 11 lbs, 8 oz. She's getting BIG!
She did good with the shots though. She cried when she got them of course, but after she just needed to be held and she was fine. She's so sweet.

While my sweet little baby is sleeping...
I had a insulation guy come out yesterday and give me an estimate on insulating my house. For the whole entire house, walls, ceilings and attic it would be $5588. Umm, I wish I could spend that much. When I asked what he thought I should do if I decided to only do one. He said the floor. That would be $1742.
Anyway, I'm calling another place and making sure I get a quote on just the back side of the house which seems to get the coldest. The living room and kitchen don't seem to get as cold.

|THANK YOU AMIEE!!!!
Thank you so much Amiee!!!
Amiee made the most beautiful green knit star shaped blanket for the baby. I'm going to post a picture of it soon so you can all admire it. We all love it so much!
This afternoon Dave and I have to go Costco to return our 3 year old TV. It burned out last night, so Dave is going to try to talk me into spending A LOT more money on a better one. It's just not the best timing with me not working and the new baby. We will see.

Casey Lynn has arrived!!!!
She made her debut after just 6 hours of real contractions. My water broke at 4:30, very early Friday morning, Contractions started around 6, Casey was born at 12:46 Friday, Aug 11th.
She weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz and was 21 inches long.
She is adorable, and both mommy and daddy are VERY in love with their baby girl... Maybe just a little bit tired too.

39 weeks, 2 days prego.
3 cm dilated
Baby has not dropped yet.
He said he wouldn't let me go 1 week past my due date... so it's not going to be more than 2 more weeks, YAY!!!!
Zoey was so funny last night. She loves her rawhide bones. She has about a dozen of them in a basket and she can go and grab one anytime she wants. She was happily chewing away on one and Dave gives one to Scout, my sister's dog. Zoey goes crazy and starts barking. She didn’t want Scout to have one. Dave got another bone and pretended to take it away from Scout so Zoey would think that he didn’t have one anymore. It worked for a second, but then she heard Scout chewing so she started whining and barking all over again. It didn’t matter that Zoey had like 5 bones and Scout only had one. She didn’t want Scout to have ANY! Eventually Scout got smart and went into the bathroom and chewed on his bone where Zoey couldn't see or hear.
Poor Scout. Zoey is so mean to him. But Zoey made us all laugh with her selfishness. hehehehe
